We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure.

A note about the Fair Credit Billing Act. Under this act, your bank limits your total loss and cannot hold you liable for more than fifty dollars of reported fraudulent charges. In the event your card is used in a fraudulent manner, you must notify your bank or card issuer immediately and in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Minimum orders are simply one case lot of any of our products. Mai Thai Exports does not impose a minimum dollar amount though we do add an $ 8.00 USD handling charge on orders under $ 250.00 U.S. Orders will be shipped by UPS or through our overseas container shipping agent; we will need exact street address for shipping. Your business phone number and email address is required to process your order – fax number if available would be helpful to fill out your account.

We are principally an online ordering company. If you place an order through a sales representative or use our order form in North America, order confirmation, shipping information, and invoices will be sent via email unless we receive an expressed request otherwise. This is necessary due to our location and to be able to continue to offer maximum value for you – our valued customer.

For phone, fax, mail or email orders we can only accept cheque, money order or bank transfer from North American customers. Consistent with our privacy policy, we can only process credit card orders online through PayPal’s 100% secure servers.

Phone: For general inquiries and order status it is best to use email because of timezone changes. We can also respond request for follow-up phone calls (we use Skype calling) and will need to know your location, area code and phone number and a window within which you will be available for taking calls. Please submit such inquiries at least 1 day in advance.

Fax: Fax us at (665) 381-4871 at any time and from anywhere in the world . We can fax or email you one of our order forms on request if you prefer placing an order via fax.

Mail: Please also mail our order form if you wish. We can provide money transfer details or you can pay by cheque or money order. If you wish to order by mail, please call ahead or email to confirm total cost of the order. Orders waiting for cheques to clear run a risk of backorders as we do not hold inventory without the security of payment.

Return / Refund Policy

Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt please contact us immediately after your package arrives for a return authorization claim number. All claims MUST be made within 3 days of receipt of order. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Returned products must be in absolutely new and unused condition for refund.

Shipping Information

Shipping charges are calculated by weight and volume weight (whichever is greater) for UPS shipments. Volume weight is calculated as length(cm) X width(cm) X height(cm) / 6000 = vol. wt. Container loads - charges are calculated by volume and any associated handling charges are applied.

Payment Methods

Cheque, money order, bank transfer, or Paypal are the current available payment options. All major credit cards can be processed through the 100% secure PayPal payment system. We will also accept letter-of-credit documentation from trusted banks and finacial institutions.

Terms

Credit approved accounts – 50% on ordering, balance Net 30 Days from date of invoice. Overdue amounts will be charged 2% per month. Customers requesting Net 30 Day Terms must place an opening order of at least $ 250.00. To become an approved credit acount we will first request information to run a credit bureau check and ask for reference information from other suppliers. N.S.F. cheques – subject to a $ 30.00 USD charge and to be replaced within 10 days. Please contact us directly for more information on obtaining credit approval.
