Thai Silk Shawl - Khit Pattern
Khit is a traditional style of Thai silk weaving from the Northeastern region (Isaan) of Thailand. Our shawls have been individually handcrafted from fine Thai silk, by skilled Thai artisans. Due to the handmade nature of these shawls, the colors, sizes and the patterns will contain variations that is a feature of genuine Thai handmade silk products and which help distinguish handcrafted Thai silk products from imitations. .
As with all handmade silk products, the finished item is characterized by small flaws that result from the hand-weaving process. This distinctive quality distinguishes handcrafted Thai silk products from copies or those produced by machine. Prices listed are for volume shipment (no individual packaging).
Shawls are 70cm x 170cm. You can order a mix of the two styles, or can select all of one individual style. One lot is 50 items with a standard order being a mix of Design 01 & 02.
